William Thomas "Willy" Pogue, 49, of Desert Hot Springs, CA passed away of a sudden illness in Palm Springs, CA on September 27, 2007. He was born February 20, 1958 in Apple Valley, CA. He grew up in Mesa, AZ and graduated from Mesa High School in 1977. As he wished, there will be no further services. He wanted to be remembered as the special person that he was in life. Rose Mortuary and Crematorium of Desert Hot Springs made the final arrangements. Will was a multi-faceted person who found wonderment in seeing and experiencing new things. He was a fisherman and was never happier than when he was in his boat out on the water. He took numerous camping trips with his wife and family. He loved traveling, riding his Harley-Davidson Motorcycle, NASCAR racing, and going to the theatre. He saw "Phantom of the Opera" twice and was in awe both times. He loved operating the big "Tonka toys" at work and bending them to his will. He remodeled the interior of his house and did a wonderful job. He loved animals and is missed by his pet, Harley Cat. He would be happy to be described as a man who always put his family first. His wonderful smile, his tanned skin and bleached blond hair from his desert lifestyle will always be on the minds of his family but they find peace in feeling him smile upon them through the warm rays of the sun.
